Tis the Season

Here’s some good holiday cheeriness:

A homeowners’ association in southwestern Colorado has threatened to fine a resident $25 a day until she removes a Christmas wreath with a peace sign that some say is an anti-Iraq war protest or a symbol of Satan.

Why do people feel that if you are against the war you HATE the troops? If you put a peace sign up, which happened all the time in the 60s, than you are worshiping Satan?

What has the world come to? I understand that this person lives in a complex with an evil homeowners’ association (I actually don’t like any homeowner associations) but she’s trying to spread joy and all the others can see is evilness and negativeness.

If anyone can find some good, old fashioned news regarding holiday spirit, please let me know and I will post it.

sounds like the republicans run the association but wait I can see how a peace sign could represent satanism just like that demonic elephant they use as there symbol.

I heard on CNN that the homeowners association was shamed into reversing this decision. What a bunch of idiots!

Cayman, I saw the new article on CNN.com that they retracted the fine, etc.

Yea, they are a bunch of idiots. Everyone knows that the peace sign these days, means peace and nothing else.
