More Music #536

February 8, 2008 at 9:06 pm (misc music)

A few months ago I went to my sister’s Myspace page. She always has some music playing and one of the songs was by this lady. I had not heard of her at the time but a few months later I heard her song on the radio. Supposedly, she was making quite a name for herself on Myspace. Check her out. Her name is Colbie Caillat. I really like her music, very sweet and simple.

You can also listen to a couple of her tunes over on my sidebar…..———->

I had that “Bubbly” song on my myspace page too. I love her voice but she’s been really over played in the detroit area.

I’ve heard of her, but I have not heard her music. I guess she broke into the music biz by posting her tunes on her myspace page. She got so popular one of the record companies picked her up.

If I could, I’d have that song banned from any further air-play on the radio. She’s definitely no West End Wendy Wendell…

She had a free song on i-Tunes a few months back, Bubbly. I’ve heard this song a bunch on the radio since then, I’m not sick of it yet. But I don’t listen to the radio much.

they usually play songs to death around here. I sometimes have to change the channel so I won’t get sick of the song.

Yes, there are several channels on Sirius that are VERY fond of Colbie Caillat. She’s done some shows with John Mayer, which automatically wins her points in my book. I do like her voice; it’s wonderfully clear and emotive. I just wish I heard it a little less frequently.

On a shallow note, I checked out her Myspace page last night, and she’s really pretty.

Oh God, Mel, don’t do that again. 🙂

    Of course I missed you!

Lori, I hope I hear some music by her and John. I think I’m in love with him. Have really gotten into his music last year and this year.

I like “Bubbly,” but I adore “Magic.” I highly recommend it.

    I love this girl’s style.
