Nature
Now that the spring is here my walking has continued. Today I was at Newton Creek and saw the sunbathing turtles. I see them rarely and figured I would bring my camera today just in case I saw something good. Well I saw turtles, not once but twice on two different logs. I don’t know why but it makes me happy to see the turtles. (click to enlarge).
It was a glorious day, about 75 degrees and mostly sunny. I LOVE the spring.

We had awesome weather here this afternoon! I walked my dog, and the only wildlife I saw was rabbits and squirrels.

What great pcitures…I have never seen a turtle up close, they are fascinating creatures. This is in a housing complex?

Mmm… puts me in the mood for some turtle soup.
Just kidding. People who eat that should be shot. Unless they’re little kids whose parents don’t tell them what they’re eating, like when they’re eating SQUIRREL. 😡
Awesome pics!

Glad you are getting the good weather! The cold, grey and gloom get pretty old by this time of year!

Our weather has been pretty good as well. (And it’s about time.)
Yesterday I took a walk at lunch and saw two deer walk out of the very small wooded area that’s between where I work and one of the main roads in town. (We’re not exactly out in the country.)

Sunbathing turtles?!?!
Hope they had sunscreen on. Would be terrible to burn that skin.

Do the turtles sun by removing their shells?
Nice pictures, thanks for sharing!

I miss our tortoises. Lion King won’t let me ask for them back when we move. He said it would be rude. Dammit.
