Talk amongst yourselves………..
I bought a new house. Well, would you consider 106 years old to be new? It’s all mine, in the town that I SO wanted to live in, on a warm and fuzzy street and I’ll be eating mac & cheese for awhile. It’s a twin, meaning there’s a duplicate attached next door but there are only two of us. I’ll take photos later.
Both house settlements are on January 31st and I will be bald thereafter.
It’s going to be busy so I won’t be posting alot but I will be reading……..
Here’s a little something that my friend, George, sent me. It’s very addictive but fun. Enjoy!

How much was it? Is it really in such rough shape as it shows in the pic? Is it a dangerous street? I want to say congratulations…

Dick, It’s not in rough shape. It’s been taken care of very well. On a nice street, etc.

Grats on the new house! Did you move closer to Philly? I look forward to seeing more pics of the new house, which reminds me I need to post some pics of the Sushiboy home.

Lori, you’re psychic, aren’t you?
Sushiboy, yep, closer to Philly but still in the suburbs, yay!

Grant, you can root for the Bears. This, however, is Eagle country and if I mutter another team’s name, I will be “done away” with. Now, would you want that to happen?

I’m so glad you found what you wanted in the place that you wanted! Congratulations Teri! You’ll be near your long-time friend and it’s on a nice street–sounds good! I just know you’d choose your home carefully…
Is it closer or further from work?
Zed said,

Oh, you already answered the question of distance from work. Forget the last question.
And catacuracha is right–old houses have character.

Go here if you haven’t already. Sounds like a great place to live.

Congratulations Teri. It looks a great place! Are you going to give her/him a name other than home?

Congratulations on the house! Owning your own place is the best. I grew up in NJ. Is it there?
